Welcome

Welcome to paulrowlandracing.com, a website for Paul Rowland Racing, LLC., based in the Fair Hill Training Center, MD and unionville, PA. We currently have about 15 horses in training, ranging from experienced hurdle and timber horses, to young horses just entering their first racing season on the flat. It is a very hands-on operation and we have had a great deal of success turning around horses that have not been overly successful early on in their careers.

We will use this site to keep people up to date with our horses as well as racing news and the stable itself.

Steeplechase Times: Rapid River- Rowland newcomer continues to climb the steeplechase ladder

Paul came over to the USA in 1988 to work for trainer Michael Dickinson. He stayed with Michael for five years in various roles including assistant trainer. Since that time Paul has managed various farm operations while also having one or two horses in training himself. On the back of Preemptive Strike's performances in 2004 Paul decided to open a public racing stable and now trains for approximately 10 owners. While Strike is no longer in training with Paul, the stable continues to do well with some new rising stars in 2007. Paul takes a very hands-on approach to racehorse management, and the horses well being and happiness are his primary concern.
